Potier's Prairie Cajun
Inn and Gifts is a fully restored hospital built in the 1920's and remodeled
for use as an Inn (This was Eunice's first hospital). All the suites
are furnished and decorated in Cajun decor of days gone by, with authentic
furnishings from that era. The courtyard is even equipped with an original
Outhouse (not for use, for viewing only). Touring is available three
different ways, They are in a restored 1941 Ford (from the days of Al Capone) or for a truly authentic
Cajun experience, choose a tour (as
the Cajuns traveled before the automobile) on an original Visa V Horse
Drawn Carriage (from the days of Queen Elizabeth). We also have
a completely remodeled school bus for touring which is available for large
groups.
